Brothers Tom and Ed Russell, born in Wales, originally performed separately before joining forces to create Overmono. Over time, they developed their own signature sound, blending elements of UK garage, techno, and breakbeat.

Their sets have appeared at major festivals such as Coachella, Roskilde, and Glastonbury. They’re also well-known for collaborations with Joy Orbison, Fred Again, and for remixes of tracks by The Chemical Brothers, Four Tet, and Thom Yorke.

In 2023, Overmono released their long-awaited debut album Good Lies, which received widespread critical acclaim. The Guardian declared: “The history of British rave rock distilled to perfection.” The album reached 11th place on the UK charts and is considered one of the strongest electronic records of recent years.

Even earlier, in 2021, the duo won Best Live UK Act at DJ Mag’s Best of British awards.

And now - all of this is coming to Trenčín in August.
